So you’ve got some webpage that you would like to see on the 1 position in google rankings:) Good Luck!:P

Here I will try to push you in good direction. The rest will be up to you.

1. First of all you have to choose keywords. Think about the content of your webpage, what is it about? Then choose two types of keywords - main keyword phrase ( this one is more important) and secondary keyword phrase.

Example:

If your website is about the games on the internet the main phrase could be: Internet games.

The secondary phrase can be: games and internet…

What kind of phrases should you create? Those that give in google the biggest amount of search results and the most correct once. Although you have to remember that this kind of phrases (keywords) are the most popular once, so you will have to work hard to reach top 10, top 3 in google search results.

NOTE: Of course if the site is really big you will have to create more than just two phrases. Probably you will have to create some phrases for the website categories, etc.

2. Next step is to buy domain www.example.com ;> It is better if domain name contains keywords inside its name.

Example: Your site content is about your cat Pinky. Domain name could look like that: www.catpinky.com or www.pinkycat.com

NOTE: If you want to put more than 2 keywords in your domain name is good to divide those words with dash.

www.keyword1-keyword2-keyword3.com

3. Before you start adding your site into directories IT MUST BE FINISHED! No one likes sites “under construction”… Also your page needs to have some good TITLE description, that will be understandable for browsers and people. You put some keywords and description into META-TAGS fields. It’s good for MSN and Yahoo browsers, it doesn’t work for google.

4. So you have all that, what next? You have to submit your website to the google, yahoo, msn and other search engines to show them that you are alive!:)

5. The website content is quite important. It has to be good. If the site has a valuable content people will put your link on other websites and you will have your back links for free!!! ;) Your website needs to be valid, it looks badly when your site is a mess on the inside. So we are trying to use: div, span elements and css styles.

NOTE: Flash animation is not the perfect way to show your website, in fact flash website are note real websites just some presentations…

6. It’s good to put keywords into <h1></h1> … <h6></h6> tags, every image should have alt=”" description attributs, all link elements should have title=”" description attributs.

7. Now you can start adding some links with your website address, successively but not to fast. First becouse you don’t want to catch any of the filters, secondly becouse you don’t want to ran out of directories;) Your “anchor text” should be changed (for example: main phrase should be added to 70% of directories, less important phrases to 30% of directories - it is not obligatory, you can experiment).

8. What else you can do? You can try some link exchange programs like: http://www.link-vault.com/ - Link Vault.

9. At the end all you can do is to add links, add links, check for the results add links and be very, very patient…
