This question is almost impossible to answear:)

And it is not becouse it’s some kind of myster, but becouse each website has unique needs to be ranked at the top of the search results.

So from the beginning.

What you will need and what can you use to build your resource base?

1. You will definately need some web space.

First of all becouse your sites should be seen from the different IP’s - no one want’s to put links on websites which are hosted only on one server.

Secondly becouse it’s better to choose hosting services from your country. It’s something called GEOLOCALIZATION - which means that if you put links to your website on pages that are hosted on the servers in your country than in your country ( probably) your site will be ranked higher than in other countries (but I think this is only true if you are using local google search engine - something like www.google.co.in for India or www.google.it for Italy).

So at the end you have to choose do you need to have good hosting services - in this case you will have to pay for them. Or mabey you do not really care about where you have your websites hosted - this option sometimes gives you good quality hosting accounts but you can’t be really sure what will happen tomorow, will your account still be there and that sort of stuff:)

2. Websites / Scripts

If you know how to build sites and it’s not a problem for you to build one then you can do that. You can also use free scripts to manage your sites. What are your choices?
